Really appreciated the kind staff!
The receptionists were super helpful, especially Emily and Ramute who printed my son's project for free! The bar had some tasty truffle fries too. The gym layout could use better organization, though. A bit frustrating trying to find equipment. Great vibe but some areas could be improved.

The hotel itself is nice and easy to get around. The restaurant was good for breakfast, and the new bar it was constructing was a great spot for unwinding with a drink. Additionally, the staff was helpful with...

The facilities were adequate and the resturant food was very good.
I was disappointed with Tv services avilable and never found how to keep the lights on the bedsie lamps without having to get out of bed to switch the lights off at the bathrooom light switches. One neds to access light switches at the bedise not centrally.

Staff were very friendly. Handy location for access to Dublin via train. Train station just across the road.
Towels were not clean. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room when I arrived. Also on morning of departure someone was smoking in a nearby room which bothered me.

Consider asking for a room away from event areas for a quieter experience, especially on weekends.

Room was ready on arrival
I specially requested not to have one of the "tired" rooms. What we got was the most worn out, scrappy, knackered room I have ever seen. Refurbishment might have been taking place elsewhere in the hotel but had not happened in our room. Surrounding shopping centre and its associated parking congestion was not good.

I was attending a graduation ceremony in nuig and the location of the hotel suited me perfectly . The availability of a hair salon so close to the hotel was an advantage for me.
Juice for breakfast? I booked on a hotel booking site and inadvertently booked two rooms instead of one. The site asked for name of my guest and then booked a second room in his name. Luckily I spotted this in my print out and rectified it in time. I could have been charged for two rooms. I am aware that is not the fault of the Glenroyal.

The staff were very nice. The hotel is in an ideal place. It had tea/coffee in the room plus a bath. The breakfast was lovely too!
The hotel decoration is very poor, the room was very small and paper was torn and marked in numerous places! I requested a quite room and we ended up with three fans outside the window! The room was freezing upon arrival, but rectified upon our return several hours later!!
